Unique handcrafted mesquite wood which turn into true works of art.

Sam grew up with mesquite trees on his ranch in Fredericksburg, Texas. In his early life, like most ranchers, used the wood to make the best barbecue in the county. One day he looked at the piece of wood he was about to burn and saw something amazing. He saw rich patinas of colors in reds, browns, and yellows. He also saw the distinctive grain in the wood. He began to see this wood he was holding as something other than firewood.

He always had a craftsman's mentality to create useful items and turn them into beautiful works of art. He had the vision to think the mesquite tree produced the wood he needed to create the artistic creations he envisioned. He began one day by going to the shop and really looking at a piece of mesquite. He began to see there was a beautiful lamp trapped within the wood. He proceeded to begin the process of creating his first lamp out of mesquite wood. At this moment he was totally hooked on creating new and amazing products out of the mesquite tree. He made lamps, furniture, benches and other useful items. However, one day while walking through the pasture he found a very unique piece of wood that began a new trail of creating sculptures out of the mesquite tree. He has created many wonderful items with this glorious tree. He finds every piece of mesquite will tell him what should be made by studying it, holding it and letting it speak to him.

Sam loves creating many items with mesquite wood. He loves the fact that people can purchase this mesquite art whether it is a functional piece for their home or office or whether it is a unique piece of art. He enjoys it and wants his customers to enjoy their piece as well.
